Research Price and Intelligence Overview
The Research Price and Intelligence Department is a core function of the Bureau. The functions of the department include undertaking procurement research, monitoring movement of prices of items, and maintaining a price database of tendered items.
Rita Okoye
Head, Research Price and Intelligence
Rita has a post-graduation experience of over 18 years that cuts across the private and public sectors. She worked with Federal Mortgage Bank (1995 – 2007) and PHB Mortgages (2007 - 2009). She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the Rivers State University of Science and Technology in Port Harcourt, and a degree in Computer Science from Abubarkar Tafawa Belewa University in Bauchi. She is a chartered member of the Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM). Rita has attended procurement courses in Nigeria and overseas. She is currently the Head, Research, Price & Intelligence Department of the Rivers State Bureau on Public Procurement.
