Finance Department Overview
The core function of the Finance Department is to implement relevant sections of the Rivers State Public Procurement Law No. 4 of 2008. It serves as the hub of all financial activities within the Bureau.
The Finance Department performs the following functions:
- Treasury Management
- Budgeting
- Fixed Asset Management
- Financial Reporting
Imaitor Oghu
Head, Finance Department
Imaitor holds a Master's Degree in Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science degree in Accountancy from the Rivers State University of Science and Technology. He has over eight years’ experience in the financial services industry. Imaitor is a member of several professional organizations including the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN). He has attended procurement courses both in Nigeria and overseas. Imaitor is the Head, Finance Department of the Rivers State Bureau on Public Procurement.
