“The Rivers State Bureau on Public Procurement (RSBoPP) has invited all Ministries, Departments & Agencies (MDAs)/Procuring Entities (PEs) including Local Governments in the State to forward their 2021 Procurement Plans to the RSBoPP for its review, agreement and certification on or before October 25, 2020.

It is pertinent to note that the RSBoPP Approved Procurement Plan is a mandatory requirement that empowers all MDAs/PEs to implement their 2021 Procurement Programs in accordance with the Rivers State Public Procurement Law No. 4 of 2008 (PPL): without which no MDA/PE is lawfully permitted to spend public funds.

MDAs/PEs are also reminded that the RSBoPP has Help Desks/Work Stations already setup to provide necessary guidance were required”.
