Capacity-Building Workshop on Procurement Held for LG Directors in Rivers
In a bid to strengthen accountability and transparency in grassroots governance, the Rivers State Bureau on Public Procurement has conducted a strategic workshop for directors from the 23 local government areas in the state.
The workshop, held in Port Harcourt, focused on educating participants on the principles of due process, regulatory compliance, and effective procurement practices. It was designed to build capacity among key local government officials and ensure that procurement processes are conducted in a transparent and cost-effective manner.
